Northside Summer Internship Program – Minneapolis, MN | 2023–2024

I designed a holistic internship program for high school students that integrated technical training, civic engagement, and support for basic needs. The program was built in collaboration with over 100 partners across the University of Minnesota, including the School of Public Health, College of Science and Engineering, Research Computing, College of Liberal Arts, Aquatic Invasive Species Research Center, College of Design, Carlson School of Management, Experimental Surgical Services, and the Office of Information Technology. It also involved active partnerships with public leaders such as Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, Mayor Melvin Carter, Attorney General Keith Ellison, RT Rybak, and the office of Senator Amy Klobuchar. I led efforts around food access, transportation coordination, and event planning while co-creating curriculum and managing program logistics in partnership with both university stakeholders and community organizations.

Fond du Lac Digital – Cloquet, MN | Designed, Development Paused (2024–2025)

I designed a culturally responsive digital literacy initiative for Indigenous youth in collaboration with the Fond du Lac Prevention and Intervention Department. The 12-week program was built around specific roles tailored to the Fond du Lac community, emphasizing hands-on technical learning, mentorship, and community involvement. It integrated drone education, AI literacy, and public health engagement, and was structured with a “train the trainer” approach to support long-term sustainability and peer leadership. The initiative also included a detailed onboarding process to prepare youth for their roles and build confidence in navigating digital systems, with plans for future expansion into fieldwork and environmental observation.

PYC Digital Program – North Minneapolis, MN | Development Paused (2024–2025)

The PYC Digital Ambassador Program was a mirrored adaptation of the Fond du Lac initiative, tailored for Plymouth Youth Center, an alternative high school within Minneapolis Public Schools. Designed as a 12-week program, it aimed to empower students through hands-on technical training, mentorship, and real-world experience. The curriculum included foundational computer literacy, drone programming, AI concepts, and public health awareness. Built with an emphasis on confidence-building and peer support, the program incorporated culturally relevant content and was structured to help students take ownership of their learning. Although development was paused prior to implementation, the full framework remains ready for future launch.
